Hello, people of Facebook, specifically Chennaites, Marina Beach, the second longest stretch of shoreline in the world, has partially opened till 11AM, but only from one side, that is the side close to Napier Bridge, so take your tagged friends through that route! The beautiful and busy city of Chennai❤️🙌
This photo was taken a year back when I was helping my relative move in here, thought to go to the terrace and I never regret that✌️, the view is simply amazing and it’s stunning to see the shoreline and Egmore station in one frame. I was totally unaware of this until Google reminded me in my Photos app, that this pic was taken a year ago🧐

Many people believe Lord Shiva and I hope you can see Him and Nandi (Shiva’s choice of transport/sawari) on the right cloud and Lord Shiva Himself on the left one.
An interesting fact about Lord Shiva:
Lord Shiva is often represented with a snake named Vasuki, coiled around his neck. The snake represents the fact that he controls death and fear. A crescent moon adorns his hair as Holy River Ganga flows out from his head. The cresent moon represents the time cycle. Trishul or his trident is an important part of his identity that he uses as his weapon. The three spikes represent the three gunas such as sattva, rajas and tamas. Sattva is the basis of creation while rajas stand for continuity and Tamas is the base of destruction. The damru is his musical instrument of choice. The objects that Lord Shiva carries in his hands signify five elements that project the Lord as the Supreme head of creation.
