The Nocte Cultural Troupe — K-Town Dance Crew proudly represented the Nocte community with a vibrant and energetic Nocte Folk Fusion Dance at the grand Nyokum Yullo Celebration 2026 held at Seppa on February 25. The performance, blending traditional rhythms with contemporary presentation, reflected the rich cultural heritage and artistic identity of the Nocte tribe and received wide appreciation from the audience.
The troupe was further honored by the presence of renowned Nocte singer Manlang Agi, whose participation added pride and inspiration to the performance. The team was actively accompanied and guided by Sh. Jiten Wangsa, President of Nocte Chalo Loku 2025 and Vice-President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Tirap Unit, whose leadership and encouragement ensured smooth participation in the celebration.
The troupe expressed heartfelt gratitude to Hon’ble MLA Sh. W. Lowangdong and Smti. C. Wangchadong for their blessings and support in promoting culture and tradition. Special appreciation was also extended to Sh. Nahang Tangjang, BJP State Executive Member, for his cooperation and assistance at Seppa. The team conveyed sincere thanks to OC PS Seppa, Inspector S. Chena, for his support during their stay.
The Nocte Cultural Troupe further thanked the Nyokum Yullo Celebration Committee, Seppa — including Chairman Sh. Tara Kamchi and Secretary Sh. Nigla Tayem — along with Hon’ble MLA, 10th Seppa A/C, Sh. Ealing Tallang, for the invitation and warm hospitality extended to them.
The Nyokum Yullo Celebration 2026 also served as a vibrant platform for cultural exchange and inter-tribal unity among the indigenous communities of Arunachal Pradesh. Cultural troupes from various tribes, including the Bogun tribe, participated in the festivities, showcasing their unique traditions, dances, and attire. The event fostered mutual respect, understanding, and brotherhood while celebrating the state’s rich diversity.
The initiative, strongly supported by MLA Sh. Ealing Tallang, aims to connect all tribes of Arunachal Pradesh through cultural platforms, symbolizing unity, harmony, and shared identity. The participation of the K-Town Dance Crew thus stands as a proud moment for the Nocte community, reaffirming its commitment to preserving and promoting its rich cultural legacy.
