"कान्हा बरसाने में आई जइयो बुलाए गई राधा प्यारी", "फाग खेलन आए हैं नटवर नंद किशोर" . ब्रज में होली ख़ास मस्ती भरी होती है क्योंकि इसे कृष्ण और राधा के प्रेम से जोड़ कर देखा जाता है। यहाँ की होली में मुख्यतः नंदगाँव के पुरूष और बरसाने की महिलाएं भाग लेती हैं, क्योंकि कृष्ण नंदगाँव के थे और राधा बरसाने की थीं। नंदगाँव की टोलियाँ जब पिचकारियाँ लिए बरसाना पहुँचती हैं तो उनपर बरसाने की महिलाएँ खूब लाठियाँ बरसाती हैं।"
