Bhimtal is a small picturesque lake town hidden in the Nanital district of Uttaranchal India.

Unlike Nanital, it is offbeat and therefore offers much more serenity.

Come rainy season and Bhimtal changes into an absolute visual delight with the hills covered in clouds and mist, the lake swelling over, the ducks going crazy on the lake, boating and the biking-cycling around the town.

There are several resorts dotted around the lake and the evenings make for cozy walks in the narrow lanes around the lake.

Top it up with evening tea and bonfires and aha—Good bye world !!!
