I drove to India’s eastern edge, where World War II once shaped history, and today a border festival connects two nations 🇮🇳 🇲🇲

From the legendary Stilwell Road and Hell Gate to Pangsau Pass and the India–Myanmar border haat, this journey through Changlang felt like walking through layers of time.

Remote. Strategic. Unfiltered.

Day 3: Gurez and The Great History!
Vlog: https://youtu.be/syU7cE3j164?si=yWf7h8tPX0Mp-ml4

This was my second time in Gurez, but the first time I truly slowed down.

Habba Khatoon walks.
Khandiyal Heights views.
Stories at the Sheena Cultural Museum.

The Dards mentioned in Mahabharata and Rajatarangini still echo through these valleys today.

Shina in Gurez and Dras, Dardic linguistic roots across Gilgit–Baltistan, and distinct Brokpa communities in Ladakh.

Different identities. Shared antiquity.

Because sometimes, before debating identity, we need to understand geography.

From Delhi to Lipulekh Pass, Uttarakhand…
A journey through winding Himalayan roads, army checkposts, silent valleys, and thin air, just to stand at the edge of India and gaze at something eternal.

There I was…
In tears.
In surrender.
In gratitude.

Standing on Indian soil, looking across into Tibet, witnessing the divine presence of Kailash Parvat. ⛰️

And in 2026, my deepest wish is to complete the journey to step closer, to walk the sacred land of Kailash Mansarovar in Tibet, not just see it from afar.

Until then… I carry that darshan in my heart. 🤍

Har Har Mahadev.

Two destinations. One trip. No extra visa. 🇭🇰🇲🇴

From the colourful streets of 🇲🇴 Macau, Ruins of St. Paul’s, Senado Square & A-Ma Temple; to my final day exploring Hong Kong’s 🇭🇰 iconic spots like Victoria Peak, Monster Building, Man Mo Temple and the Ding Ding tram… this episode was packed.

Different cultures, different vibes, same journey.

Was it worth the money? Or just hype?

Gorsam Kora Festival is back! ‘15-18th March 2026’
Right at the edge of India! 🇮🇳

From 15th to 18th March, this 800-year-old stupa in Zemithang, the first Indian village on the Indo-Tibet border, comes alive with footsteps, prayers & pilgrims from across India and Bhutan 🇮🇳🇧🇹

You can witness monks, tribes, locals and border forces walking the sacred circle around the Gorsam Chorten, in one of the most peaceful yet geopolitically sensitive corners of the Himalayas.

📍Zemithang, Arunachal Pradesh
🌀 Faith, history & borders blend here.
