Every Kid will have a Dream at a very young age looking at others, To become A Doctor, An Engineer, A Pilot, A Cinema Hero, To go on a World Tour, To Build a Big House, To Own a race car, etc etc.....
There will be a few whose dreams will come true and for some it won't.... for a fee it would just become a dream...
But, For me, My one and only dream in life was...to somehow meet Thalaivar *RAJINI* sir once, to click a picture with him, to frame that photo and stick it proudly on my wall and to tell him that he's been nothing but a *God* to me...

I don't know how many people have got the opportunity be it Pillayar, Murugar, Jesus, Allah, to come stand in front of them and grant their wish.. But it happend for me.. the person who I praise as *God* was in front of me... 😱

Those few minutes I stood with him,
Those few words I spoke to him,
The blessings he gave me, when he put his hands over my shoulder, truly a moment of shivers and chills in my body.. When I told him about my upcoming business in Photography, that second when he kept his hand over my head and blessed... 😱

How many people would actually get this lucky..
How many people's dreams would actually become true... 😉

For all the 90's kids out there,
From the time we acquire knowledge,
We may have looked upto our fathers as our first hero...our grandfathers as our first hero...Some of us would have even looked upto Superman, Batman, Shaktiman as our first hero...
Above all these people,
There is one such person who has been the biggest SuperHero for most of the 90's kids..
Who is none other than our very own " *SUPERSTAR RAJNIKANTH* sir"..
I don't know about other kids,
But to me, *Rajni sir* wasn't just a movie hero nor a SuperHero,
To me, he's an inspiration for life..
More than looking up to him as our Thalaivar, ever since I came to know, he has been a God for me... 🙏🏽
You may all wonder what kind of an impaction a child may have on a cinema artist at that age...
The answer for that is known only by my family..
When a child starts looking into the mirror for the first time, there's nothing but fear looking at the reflection of their own. ..That is The time when he/she knows the knowledge about looking into the mirror and knowing what it really is..When I first looked into the mirror first, the first thing that came to my mind is, I don't look that good.. I'm not a fair person...I'm Black... I look Dark.... I look horrible... I'm not good looking...These were the thoughts that saddened me every time I looked into the mirror. . . 😪 😓 😞
One big thing which I struggled during my childhood is because of this, Skin Tone Inferiority Complex! While things are as it is, like adding fuel to the burning flame, my very own close relatives called me *KAKA, KARUVAYAA, KARUVAA PAYALAE* and so on... Words can't describe how sad I was deep down in my heart..
During this time when my own circle of people teased and laughed at me,
With the same inferiority complex during his childhood,
Proving that a man's skin tone doesn't matter at all, became a Hero In Tamil Cinema, and truly earned the title SuperStar and shined, *RAJNIKANTH* sir,
That was when he shone as an inspiration to me... 😎
I became his sincere follower... 😎
Every time I get teased for my Colour, the only mantra I kept chanting was *RAJINI RAJINI RAJINI*.... 😌
It was the time when, in , in ,
*Pepsi_Ungal_Choice* , *Neengal_Kaeta_Paadal* , the most popular song on television was, *KARUPPUTHAAN_ENAKKU_PUDICHA_COLORU* , Whenever they play the song, I would run and come and sit to watch it just for one line, *NAMMOORU_SUPERSTARU_RAJINIKANTH_KARUPU_THAN*
Thats when I realised,
Rajni Sir is my God 🙏🏽
That's the day my inferiority complex left my thoughts...
I haven't let the whole thought about my Skin Tone Till date... ☺
Whoever teased me in my childhood, are still teasing me now for my color...
But, I never really let the thought bother me at any cost.... I haven't given a s**t about it 😏 Only that small phrase flashes in my mind.. And I am really proud to be born this way.... 👨🏾
When I was growing up, I never wore what my parents got me...
Whatever's in current, from a new Rajini sir's film, or something recent on TV worn by Rajini sir, I would go in search of those and buy them and wear it... Since Childhood My Clothing, Accessories, Shoes, Shades, etc etc were all Just like Thalaivar 👕 👖 👞 🕶
Even till today, for every birthday of mine, I've wear a dress similar to what Rajini sir wore in some film...
Every other kid would usually wear trousers, shorts, bermudas kind and go out to play.. but I wasn't one of them.. I've never worn any of those.. I've only worn Jeans, even during my sleep....
Even whenever we shifted our House , I directly run and stick Rajini sir's photo in all the doors & I also drew his image and stuck on the walls...
Whenever I go with my mom at work, her friends, colleagues, everyone would call me .. because I would just wear a Round Neck Tshirt inside with a Shirt Over it.. That would be my attire almost all the time...
It was the time when my parents colleagues, neighbors wouldnt call me Vikki, only *Padayappa* 😎
You wont believe if I tell even after so many years they still call me that...Yes... They Still Call me *Padayappa* 😎
Well you all must have got an idea what a big devotee I am.. I haven't even mentioned about 10% of the connection between Rajini sir and myself because if I had to, I would easily write a book.... ☺ ☺ ☺
