Happy 2022 everybody (probably a little late for that). Most of us in the group suffered through Covid at the start of the year in some shape or form. But now that we are fine, we are traveling to different places and checking off items on our bucket lists. This time we went to Oxford and ate a lot of good food and had a lot of fun. The bucket list item was visiting the Harry Potter dining hall which was something out of a fairy tale.

Hello friends,

I hope you are doing absolutely well and staying safe during the coronavirus pandemic.

In this video, I am sharing some clips from a recent morning stroll in London near the Bank DLR Station. Frankly, I am very new to London so I have not walked on these streets before, and hence, I would not be the best person to comment on how empty these streets look. But considering how densely populated central London usually is, I felt very nice to see the empty streets. Because this means that most people are staying at home or staying alert on the streets, obeying the directives by the government.

Hello friends,

I hope you all are doing absolutely well and staying safe during the coronavirus pandemic.

In this video, I am sharing some clips from my one day trip to Bombay before finally going to my home in New Delhi. It was a crazy hectic week in which I had to wrap up my job in Bangalore before transferring to London. In all, I had to stay in 4 hotels that week (7 days) to make sure I am at the right places at the right time.

One of the hotels I stayed in was ITC Hotels - ITC Maratha in Bombay which was one of the most luxurious hotels I have ever stayed in. Apart from the hotel experience, I met my old friends from my Undergraduate days at IISc Bangalore and also met my cousin sister. I enjoyed some good night life in BKC (Bandra Kurla Complex) and some really nice ambiance in the cafe in Prithvi Theatre while meeting all my friends. Also, got a chance to visit the prestigious IIT Bombay.

All in all, it was a wonderful trip.

As a yearly family ritual, we went on a road trip to Himachal Pradesh in 2019. However, unlike visiting the mountains every year in summers, this time we visited the mountains during Christmas time.

We went on a very comfortable yet challenging road trip from Faridabad, Haryana to Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. On one of the days when we drove to Kufri, we were very lucky to experience snowfall in the evening in Kufri. As soon as the snowfall started, Kufri became nothing less than a wonderland.

It was also a quite challenging experience for us because seeing snow for the first time also meant driving in the snow back to the hotel and then from the hotel to Shimla (on our way back to Faridabad) with our 2 wheel drive car. Driving in the snow required a lot of patience and even more than that a lot of skill. Being inexperienced drivers in the snow, we took some quick lessons from the locals in Kufri to commence our journey back to Faridabad.

In this video, I have tried to show the white mountains of Kufri covered in the snow. I have also documented some of our time when we were driving in the snow. :)
