Sabarmati Ashram

Also known as Gandhi Ashram, Harijan Ashram, or Satyagraha Ashram, is located on the banks of the River Sabarmati at Ahmedabad.

It is a very serene place with lot of trees and birds on them. The place houses Gandhiji's residence, a Museum, a book shop and a very good view of the river Sabarmati and the riverside walkways.

A 4 hour long detailed Panchari under full moon. No electrical lights used.. Only traditional oil lamps & flambeau (Theevetti) are used. A treat to see, listen & experience.

കുംഭമാസത്തിലെ പൂരം നാൾ പൂർണ്ണചന്ദ്രനെ സാക്ഷിനിർത്തി, ആ നിലാവെളിച്ചത്തിന് താഴെ ഏഴാനപ്പുറത്തെഴുന്നള്ളുന്ന കുട്ടനല്ലൂർ ഭഗവതിയുടെ പൂരം.. വൈദ്യുതവിളക്കുകൾ ഇല്ലാതെ, തീവെട്ടികളുടെ വെളിച്ചം കൊണ്ട് മാത്രം തിളങ്ങുന്ന ആ ക്ഷേത്രമുറ്റത്ത് രാത്രി നന്നേ വൈകി തുടങ്ങി സൂര്യോദയം വരെ നീളുന്ന വിസ്തരിച്ചുള്ള പത്തു നാഴിക പഞ്ചാരിമേളം. കണ്ടും കേട്ടും അനുഭവിച്ചും അറിയേണ്ട ഒരു പൂരം.. മനോഹരമായ പൂരം.. ♥️

കഴിഞ്ഞവർഷം കുട്ടനല്ലൂർ പൂരത്തിന് പകർത്തിയ ചിത്രം.. ഈ വർഷത്തെ പൂരം ഇന്നാണ്.
