UCD welcomed Wexford FC on Easter Monday to the UCD Bowl. Despite plenty of on the ball action a lack of decent chances on goal for both sides ended in a 0-0 finish with both teams sharing the points going into the next round of fixtures. From capturing the ladies creating new platforms in their industries to the baddies bopping in the crowd at festivals and the incredible artists selling out venues across the country and beyond, I have been in a privileged position to work with and alongside incredible women constantly crushing it in their fields. International Womens Day is important to mark, but in my opinion, this expression of support online should not be confined to just one day. We need to all continue to support each other's work and projects and passions. So let's get out on the sidelines cheer on all girls from grassroots leagues to the Girls in Green, go support women led festivals and arts initiatives and get out and see some of our top class comedy talents and musicians currently on tour like Enya Martin, Joanne McNally, Aideen McQueen, Deirdre O Kane Emma Doran, Kyla Cobbler, Aisling Bea, Aoife Dunne [so many more I'm definitely forgetting but this isn't even scratching the surface on the great work being brought to stages near you by female talent].

Happy International Womens Day everyone - let's continue to thrive ladies. It's a privilege knowing you all 😁

With the last of the festival finale galleries delivered in the wee hours of Monday morning I took a few days to ruminate over an incredible week of work with before I started figuring out how to share it all here. The nightly delivery of galleries during these weeks is so fast I often don't get to actually much time to consider what I will be sharing on my own page until a few days after closing night. Now that I've somewhat got myself back to a normal sleep schedule and had the time to go back through all those galleries it's time to share it all with you.

Over the next few days I'm going to be posting a whistle-stop tour through my favourite shots, moments and shows I got to shoot in this brilliant festival. First up is photos I took of the first ever live recording of the podcast hosted by and featuring the MC-maestro which closed out our first night in the

If you spot anyone you know who got caught on the laughter cam tag them below.

Aperture lets the light in, it has been said. While I took most of January off as an extended Xmas break the light did break through and I ended up working on some great projects and with some cool people. I shot some rugby match content with the ladies of , did my first gig of the year with and collaborated again with the fabulous photographing her poster cover for her upcoming tour 'Waiting for Texto' [coming to venues near you, check it out, it's a brilliant piece of work]

Great strong start to the year and looking forward to working on more cool projects in the coming months.

Straight From My Drafts Series : Festival Season Recap

While my usual content mining through my phone for the yearly recap I came across these clips from the 2025 festival season and knew I had to share them. Surely I can't be the only one already getting excited for what the 2026 festival season is going to look like 😁 Or am I?

2025 was a year of repeats and firsts and I captured some truly class moments.

I got the opportunity again this year to be trackside in to capture both Wicklow and Leinster athletics championships earlier this year. Athletics has my heart as a sport I have followed for years and I hope to get even more involved in this sport in 2026.

2025 was also the year, i somehow completed my second season with the lovely crew at . The time has absolutely flown and I'm so looking forward to getting back into the thick of it in a few weeks time and getting to work with our amazing media team and all the great togs I get to work alongside in the during the upcoming season.

2025 was also brought me a different type of challenge where I came onboard as the social media manager and content maker for . You may have seen quite a few of the collaboration posts and there are plenty more to come so watch that space, I'm really enjoying returning to my roots in women's rugby and can't wait to be part of showcasing this sport and the great women involved in it.

I have plans for 2026 in this space and can't wait for you all to be along for the ride. For the last time this evening and this year, happiest of new year's to you all.

See you in 2026!

I have loved stand-up for as long as I can remember, so after shooting my first comedy festival last October I came on this page and said this was the work I wanted to be immersed in in 2025.

Well, lads, I could never have predicted the events of the last year. From shooting the to working with comedy clubs like and , capturing individual standup hours, shooting not one but two Edinburgh Fringe show posters [an absolute dream of mine I can't believe I got to do so early on] and the absolute highlight of the year photographing the Comedy Tent. This has been a year of incredible moments working for and alongside so many talented and lovely people and as such it was very difficult to pick 20 favourite shots for this post. I am so looking forward to building on every experience and lesson from this last year and making 2026 a year to absolutely remember for myself and those I work with. I hope you are one of them!

Happy New Year everyone!

2025 - [Nearly] A Year Captured in Music

I made a post around this time last year where I set out my intentions for 2025. I was vocal on how determined I was to start shooting music and how much I wanted to be a part of the summer festival scene. Little did I know that in a few months' time, after sending countless emails and knocking on several doors, I finally got an opportunity that changed everything. Since then, I have had the most incredible few months capturing some amazing artists and festivals.

I have taken so many pinch me moment shots this year, but here are some that I really love. Most I shot on behalf of , a few for while the one of the 2 Johnnies, I took as a fan during their Pints in A Field event from the crowd so while not officially part of the portfolio this year, I absolutely adore their reactions in it so had to include it 😉

Thank you for all your support guys, you've made this possible! I can't wait to see what awaits me in 2026

Presenting my 'Straight From My Drafts Series' where I upload all the reels that never made it out of my drafts in 2025 for a myriad of reasons. I can only imagine this reel came about after a battle with lightroom and my laptop's RAM after a particularly busy weekend during the summer. Based off the length of my hair in this, I'm predicting this might have been after Beyond the Pale. I'm also on my annual festive re-run of so this was appropriate for the day in it.

A festive hostage situation has ensued in the wake of the greatest Jacob's biscuit tin fued in the history of the Oval. The great question remains, which biscuit tin will be going back on the sleigh, Kimberleys or Mikados? It appears negotiations broke down and our security cam captured one of our elves being put on a timeout, tied to the posts on our main pitch. 20 mins later our camera caught the perpetrator climbing the posts trying to thumb an early lift home. The whereabouts of both elves are not known at this time.

Please report any sightings to the page admin.

"If anyone asks we're shooting a campaign for Boohoo"

They were my imparted words of wisdom to Darren when we setup this makeshift photoset on a Dublin sidestreet a few weeks back. The brief was simple enough; he wanted to get some shots with a red-bricked wall background for his promo pack. If you know Dublin this isn't necessarily a difficult feature to find, but it had to look the part and be sleek. Not one to back away from a challenge, on a quick scout of the general area around his complex, I found this lovely structure to suit the brief. Once a few discarded traffic cones and rubbish was pushed out of the frame and the one-light setup was in place, we were in business. A few odd looks might have been thrown our way, but it was worth it in the end. Absolutely delighted with how the final shots turned out and always a pleasure working with this very talented chap.

Check out gaffney and his pop-up comedy club to check out his trojan work in the Irish comedy scene. If you're a comic or artist in need or some promo shots that are a little different, reach out.
