Finally got to give this wedding present to this young fella who ive know since he was 9 and got hitched last October in Doolan. I had to sneak out of the wedding 3 minutes before the dinner was served and drive about a mile down the road and hike about 1km to get this shot of the moon over Doonagore Castle in Doolin. I was lucky enough that I met the farmer during the day and got permission to enter his land. Then the gods of clouds turned up and parted just as the moon rose. I'd like to think that a picture of a full moon taken on the day you got wed in the village you got wed is pretty special. Of course it was framed with art glass and printed on fine art paper Wall Candy Picture Framing in Portmarnock.
