One day during a drive our son asked us what we thought heaven was like, after we explained what we thought it would be like we asked him the same question.

He just said “Like Aunt Boots & Uncle Stephen’s house”

Boots & Stephen have been part of our lives for our entire marriage and it’s hard to imagine going through life without friends like them. More than just old friends, they’re like family. Family is who shows up for you when things get tough. People who are there to celebrate the wins and console after the losses.

Friends who show up with home cooked meals out of the blue. Friends who clean your bathroom when you have a newborn because they know how to truly serve others.

This history together made their anniversary session all the more special. Everything you see in these images reflects who they are together; loving, kind and full of joy.

In between bouts of sunshine, rain & wind, Ella & Pat’s day was filled with magic and lots of laughter. The clouds parted just in time for their ceremony and it couldn’t have been a more perfect setting.

A few years ago at the showcase we met this couple who we hit it off with right away. Their vibe matched ours and immediately we knew we could create magic together capturing their cool, effortless style and deep love for each other.

A year later we photographed their wedding, then another year passed and we photographed their pregnancy announcement and maternity session.
