With all those gorgeous autumn colours, crunchy leaves and so much to explore, it’s the perfect time for a woodland adventure!

An impromptu walk with my girls and their cousins naturally turned into a photo shoot 🤪

Woodland photoshoots are one of my favourites. There’s no need for children to sit still and smile at the camera, they can explore, play and be themselves while I capture all those lovely in-between moments.

A beautiful afternoon celebrating with Patrycja, Wojtek and their family and friends as they found out they're expecting a baby girl! 🥹

From all the little details and anticipation to the excitement, happy tears and hugs when the big surprise was revealed, it was such a lovely occasion to capture.

A very special day celebrating little Aoibh 🤍

I first met this lovely family when I photographed Aoibh's newborn session, so it was such a pleasure to be invited back to capture her Christening Day. 🥰

From the beautiful moments during the ceremony to the laughter, family cuddles and celebrations afterwards, there was so much love surrounding this little lady.

One of my favourite things about photographing christenings is capturing all those little moments in between; the proud smiles, the little glances, the generations coming together and the memories that will mean so much in years to come.

A huge thank you to Aoibh's family for trusting me to capture another chapter of their story. It really does mean so much to be invited back. 🤍

I think it's probably about time I introduced myself. 😆

I'm Brenda 👋 Originally from Caragh, Rathangan has been home for the past 8 years. I'm married to Mark and we're parents to our two girls Lucia & Kaia 💞

Photography has been part of my life for as long as I remember. From well over a decade ago I was always the one with a camera at family parties (although back then I was happily shooting in auto and semi-auto 🤣)
In 2021, I decided to properly learn to shoot in manual! I completed a Diploma in Digital Photography with Distinction and joined Naas Photography Group. I won Novice photographer of the year in the 2022-23 season and also had a photo published in Amateur Photographer Magazine. I took on jobs for family and friends mainly and the feedback was brilliant and everyone around me told me I should turn my photography into a business but I'm my own worst critic and kept finding reasons why I wasn't ready 😅 My background couldn't be more different either, I have a QFA and was once a team leader of a CU branch!
I loved shooting landscapes and wildlife and looking back through these old photos remind me how much I miss it!
Life got busy again, we got married and had our second daughter. Eventually I picked up the camera again, entered the Bermingham Cameras Punchestown photo competition..and won!😮 That gave me my mojo back. After plenty more encouragement, I finally took the leap and set up Brenda Reade Photography. And I haven't looked back! Since then, I've had the privilege of photographing everything from newborns to weddings.
For me, photography has never been about having the perfectly posed photograph. When I look back at where I started, I see what drew me to photography then are still the things I love about it now-the light, emotions, the little looks, the laughs, connections and the moments that might otherwise have been forgotten.
Outside of photography, I'm a proud wife and mammy, coffee addict, w**e lover, bookworm, and sunset lover 🌅 And one random fact, I have an identical twin sister 👯‍♀️ So if you see 'me' and I don't say hi, it might not be me 😅
