Blackbraid finally set foot on Irish soil for the very first time and delivered a performance in O***m that won’t be forgotten any time soon. No stage banter. No distractions. Just pure, unrelenting intensity from start to finish.

We’ve put together a full review of the night, capturing the atmosphere, the chaos, and everything in between.

Rest in Power to the great Phil Campbell. This gallery shows the energy from Phil’s last show in Dublin, Ireland the 19th of April 2025, where Irish fans were treated to a night of Motörhead classics.

Phil gave over 40 years of his life to Motörhead’s loud and brash style of Rock and Roll. After joining Motörhead in 1984, he put his stamp on 20+ studio, compilation and live albums. He recorded and performed alongside the iconic Lemmy, guitarists Würzel and Fast Eddie Clark, drummers Pete Gill, Filthy Phil Taylor and Mikkey Dee, and session & touring musicians include Tommy Aldridge and Matt Sorum.

After the passing of Lemmy and disbandment of Motörhead in 2015, Phil started “Phil Campbell and the B*stars Sons” with his sons Todd, Dane and Tyla Campbell. They toured the world together playing original songs, and honouring Motörhead’s legacy by performing hits and deep cuts from the extensive back catalogue.

The links and friendships between Motörhead and Ireland’s Thin Lizzy are well documented. In 1985 shortly after joining the band, Phil played Motörhead’s 10th anniversary show. It was held at the iconic Hammersmith Odeon in London. This night was recorded and released as Motörhead’s “Birthday Bash”. The final song of the night was Motörhead’s namesake “Motörhead”. For this closing number, the band were joined by a number of guests including long time friend of Lemmy and Thin Lizzy frontman Phil Lynott. Lynott played bass and sang the chorus. For a brief moment, both Phil Campbell and Phil Lynott shared the stage. See YouTube for the show.

Condolences to Phil’s family & friends.
