First day back after the New Year, and the sun is shining in Dublin today... making it easier to return to work?! 🥴

A reminder of how much light and colour can change the feel of a day and the feel and a space!

Ascending - Some paths feel endless, unclear, winding and uncertain, yet each step takes us closer to the light. Each step feels like leaving something behind, a blur between the ache of letting go and the quiet hope of moving forward and and looking towards what’s yet to come.... more light and love, I hope!

Available as a limited edition print, stamped and numbered on museum quality paper.

This one has made its way to the US and is currently hanging in a London themed boardroom in NYC. Taken at dusk in London's picadilly circus, the famous statue popularly but mistakenly known as Eros, but correctly names The Shaftesbury Memorial Fountain, is a fountain surmounted by a winged statue of Anteros, thanks to wikipedia, I learned that Anteros God of Selfless Love in Greek mythology / the God of requited love and also the punisher of those who scorn love and the advances of others, or the avenger of unrequited love.. or the as apposed to Eros who is a little less selfish and is the purely the God of Love .... oh and S*x.. !
I wonder what they discuss in that boardroom?🤭

Taken on a beach in Spain, I’ve called this one 'Silent Watch', because of the stillness it holds. It feels quiet and calm and lets the mind both relax and wander.

I've not posted any new work for a while, not just because my algorithm’s shifted, but because with everything going on in the world, sharing my work has sometimes felt… off, it sometimes feels superfical to post about art when there is so much pain in the world. I find it overwhelming, devastating, infuriating, heartbreaking and sometimes paralyzing, so perhaps this new work is quite fitting. Because I can't just silently watch, if you’re reading this, I urge you not to either.
Lets try do one thing today, something small, something human, raise awareness in your own way, have a conversation with your neighbour, shop keeper, bang a pot at 6pm, send an email to your MP, sign a petition, share a post, donate if you can... just don't watch in silence.

🇵🇸 From the River to the 'snotgreen' Sea, Palestine will be Free!🇵🇸

On this Bloomsday, we remember a single, ordinary day in Dublin, made extraordinary through Joyce’s Ulysses. Its a story of wandering, of identity, of exile, and of longing for home. A story which took place today in 1904 that elevates daily life into something sacred.... Not everyone has the privilege of wandering. Not everyone gets to return home.

Joyce’s Ireland experienced colonisation and cultural suppression, the Irish could move freely and return home, but for the Palestinians, sadly, this is not an option.
In 1948, just 26 years after Ulysses was published, the Palestinian Nakba began. Over 700,000 Palestinians were forcibly displaced from their homes and still today, we are witnessing that trauma deepen, with thousands more being starved, physically and mentally tortured and massacred daily.

So on this Bloomsday, as we read and remember, may we also take a moment to reflect on the dream beneath the nightmare.

From the River to the 'snotgreen' Sea, Palestine will be Free!🇵🇸

I’m delighted to share that my black and white photograph 'Egress' has been selected as part of this week’s curated collection on Saatchi Art .

This piece explores stillness, solitude, and the subtle invitation of a quiet space. A boardwalk ladder disappears into glassy water - captured in soft, tonal monochrome. Titled Egress, the image symbolises both exit and entry, a threshold between what we know and what lies beneath. It invites contemplation and breathes calm into the spaces it inhabits.
Minimalist composition perfect for calm, considered interiors. A timeless black and white palette that suits modern design.

If you’re seeking art that brings stillness and emotional resonance into your home or project, Egress might be the perfect fit! I love seeing where it ends up!

This work is available via Saatchi and directly through my shop in a range of sizes.

Feeling very fortunate that I am embarking on little adventure that takes me to Spain.
I will be there for the next month surrounding myself with palm trees, sun, sand and inspiration. Its not going to be all sunbathing and sangria, I'll be attending an artist residency and working on ideas for a new project. Meanwhile, this artwork was made during a previous stay in Spain and combines palm trees from various tropical travels is todays inspiration.

By My Side – A serene scene capturing two figures walking along a tranquil beach in soft mocha mousse hues. One figure appears faded yet luminous, evoking the comforting presence of unseen companionship. A poetic reminder that you are never truly alone, this piece adds depth and emotion to any space. Perfect for considered interiors that embrace warmth, connection, and quiet reflection.
