I know this comes after I already started with the area, but welcome to la Republica de La Boca, and a little spots I loved and want to share with you.

República de La Boca was the name of several civil cultural and recreational associations that historically were based in the La Boca neighborhood, Buenos Aires. They were known as micronations with a social and entertainment purpose. Like any "nation", their members ("citizens") used bombastic titles and received fictitious "honors". They had a "government" that emulated that of a real state. They were known as micronations for social and entertainment purposes.

Located in La boca, the Caminito (little path, in Spanish) is a street museum of colourful painted houses typical of the immigrant dwellings that came to chracterise this portside area towards the end of the 19th and start of the 20th century.

Today, there are several works by Argentine artists incorporated as part of the street museum and the Caminito has become a favourite with visitors to the city. Several restaurants offer tango and folk dance shows and street fills with artists offering original crafts and paintings.

As you walk down Pasaje San Lorenzo in the San Telmo district of Buenos Aires, keep an eye out for house number 380.
It’s a charming sight, but such a sliver of a building that you could easily miss it. The tiny home, known as La Casa Mínima, is the narrowest in the Argentine capital. According to local legend, it was once owned by a freed slave.
At its widest point, La Casa Mínima measures just 8.2 feet (2.5 meters) across. In terms of depth, the house extends a comparatively generous 42 feet (13 meters) from front to rear. Still, it remains a notably narrow slice of Argentine architecture.

From the large foyer, accessible by a staircase to the foyer of silver as well as the Golden Hall and the Hall of Bustos. The last section of the staircase, plant semicircular, gives access to the gallery that leads to both sides at the stairs leading to the first floor. In the first break, the visitor is confronted with two magnificent stained glass windows with allegorical subjects that serve as heads to the Golden Hall.

Following yesterday's one.. this traditional family mansion built in the 1870s was the home of the Ezeiza family, one of the most distinguished families in the city. The rooms converge on a central gallery and the ground floor has three patios.
The building housed a school for the deaf for several years and in 1981 was transformed into a quirky shopping centre with units offering antiques, paintings, souvenirs and other items.
