Sláinte, friends!
It’s that time of the year again when everything turns a glorious shade of green, and even your morning coffee somehow tastes a bit more Irish! ☘️ Yes, St. Patrick’s Day is upon us, and here in Ballincollig Business Association, we’re getting ready to celebrate in true community spirit.
This year, the Ballincollig Business Association has been hard at work (with a fair share of tea breaks, of course) to bring together an exciting parade that showcases the best of our town. From talented musicians to lively performers, and let’s not forget the brilliant local businesses, it’s set to be a fantastic day out for all ages.
A huge shoutout to Dermot Lucy, the White Horse Guitar Club, Kimberly Clifford, and Dick Beamish, who have all played a part in making this celebration truly special. Whether you're a seasoned St. Patrick’s Day reveller or just in it for the craic, all welcome to join the Ballincollig Parade at 3 PM on March 17th. Bring your best shamrock-wearing self, and let’s turn the streets into a sea of green!
It was a great pleasure to create this community project—well done to all the actors and everyone behind the scenes! The hard work, dedication, and passion that went into this event prove once again that Ballincollig is more than just a place on the map; it’s a community that thrives together.
Now, over to you! What are some fun or unusual facts you know about St. Patrick’s Day? And how are you planning to celebrate? Drop your thoughts in the comments below—let’s keep the Irish spirit alive! 🍀💚
See you at the parade!
