🚦What's it all about ??

Ricky and the Walkmen are a live band comprised of 7 local professional musicians that work in wedding bands and groups around the country

The show will be loud and live with hits like :

🛑Danger Zone
🛑Footloose
🛑Heaven is a place on earth
🛑Radio GAGA & much more

Unlike other 80s groups there will be no bu****it karaoke tracks or fake noise, everything you will hear will be raw and raging

We are putting 1000s of Watts of sound and light into the ballroom in Doolys and its going to rock heavy....

We plan on hitting the stage no later than 11pm so don't mess around straggling up at 1am thinking "ah it will be grand" because it won't, once the room is at legal capacity we are closing the doors even if your the parish priest

We will have a DJ to take you to wonderland after we deliver our set until very late and there will be plenty of bar staff to knock out the drinks

Get your tickets now at reception in Doolys and there is a very small amount available on eventbrite.ie

This is going to be a party with a difference

This man doesn't realise it but he was a big influence on me growing up. From a very early age my grandfather told me about the showbands in the Marian Hall and I alway knew about the ones that were grown locally.

I used to watch this gentlemen along with his buddies In later years (the 80s/90s) when I worked doolys Hotel when they would scramble together to play a tea dance etc. Gene Barry has a tone in his voice that could top any singer
I often watched in awe as he delivered "The Great Pretender"
It's great to meet the likes of Gene out and about and chat for a min to a man who has decades and decades of performance experience yet he is a humble as they come.
