I’m Monika - a newborn and baby photographer based in Athy, Co. I create simple, natural, and timeless portraits of your little ones, from their very first days to their first birthday and beyond. My studio is calm, cosy, and fully baby-friendly, with everything needed for a relaxed session. Safety and comfort always come first, and every baby is treated with patience and care. I love to capture newborns, and also special baby milestones like sitting, tummy time, or first birthdays. 🤍

💗 A little sweetness in three shades of pink 💗

For this newborn session, I chose three different pink tones to create a soft colour palette without everything looking exactly the same. I love how changing the shades slightly from one setup to the next gives the final gallery variety while still making all the images feel beautifully connected.

From tiny toes and sleepy faces to those gorgeous newborn cuddles, these first weeks really are so special — and they disappear before you know it. 🌸

I absolutely love working with a warm, neutral colour palette for newborn sessions: soft creams, warm beige, caramel and browns.

These tones create a calm look, while allowing all those beautiful little details to stand out: tiny toes, delicate fingers, soft newborn skin and those gorgeous little expressions. 🤍

Oh, there is something so peaceful about watching a sleeping newborn. Those little hands, tiny lips, and the sweetest expressions remind us just how quickly these precious days pass. 💙

If you're expecting a baby, it's never too early to book your newborn session. The best time to photograph your little one is during the first two weeks, while they are still so tiny and love to be all snug and cosy.

Ah, what a week it's been for our family... Adam teams winning in 2 finals.... summer league with Minors Athy and O'Donovan Cup with Kildare GAA u16s Development Squad... Couldn't be more proud of our young man ❤️

Yesterday's little princess kept me on my toes! 🥰 She wanted lots of cuddles and took her time settling, but once she was all snug in the soft wrap, she finally drifted off to sleep. And it was so worth the wait! 💗

Thank you so much to her parents for allowing me to share these precious first memories with you. ❤️

Is there anything sweeter than a sleepy newborn smile? 💙 One of my favourite moments during a newborn session in my cosy studio in Athy is when I catch one of these precious sleepy smiles. 🩵 They only last for a second, but if the timing is just right, they become one of the most treasured photographs from the session.

Every baby is different, and while I can never promise a smile, it's always such a lovely surprise when it happens. 🥰

These tiny expressions remind us just how magical those first few weeks are. They're gone so quickly, but photographs let you hold onto them forever. ❤️

These quiet little details tell the beginning of a beautiful sibling story and I feel very lucky to capture them.
