/ New Life Indonesia: Light of The World | A Christmas Production
17 December 2023 /
First of all, massive thanks to .pro for giving me the opportunity to design a rig outside of my local church. Y’all can technically look at it as my first gig :) Thank you so much!
Onto the event itself. We used some Strobes, Battens, B-Eyes, and BSW. These are not just randomly selected, just to make the stage look good. Every fixture, and its location serves a purpose.
The Strobes are chosen not only because it’s fun to blind people (totally not one of the reasons), but it’s also chosen of its wide beam angle to wash the stage, as well as to set the ambience to the room.
The Battens are chosen as a static wash light for the extended stage. So when the strobes are not on, the battens are there to make sure that the stage is lit.
The BSWs and the B-Eyes were chosen as the effect light to give life to the stage. More importantly, they were positioned in a way that there is no dead spots from the camera’s point of View.
No two events are the same, you always have to research which light would be the perfect fit for the job. I like to think that, even though there are things that can be improved, I still consider it a massive success. Please DM me if y’all have any suggestions on how to improve my skill better. I’ll link the video on my bio, if y’all wanna watch it.
Overall, this was a job well done. Massive thanks to .pro, pak and the .production team for trusting me. Hope to work with y’all again soon!!
