I never know the story behind the people I photograph—whether they have known each other for years, met only moments ago, or simply crossed paths by chance. I only see a gesture, a glance, the space between them, and something invisible that seems to connect them. Sometimes that brief, unspoken energy stays with me longer than any conversation could.
