✖️MAX VERSTAPPEN✖️

I almost missed my only shot of Max Verstappen.

You know one of these moments when something huge is about to happen and you don’t have a proper lens with with you? 📸

That’s exactly what happened here. I was walking through the streets of Nürburg with a bunch of friends and heard Max was out on the track. I had left my backpack at the hotel as we weren’t planning to shoot that day - I only took my camera with 24-70 on it, just in case 🤷‍♂️

We rushed to the track to see if Max was actually driving and guess what - he was. It was his last lap that day and I managed to capture it, but I was frustrated I didn’t have a longer lens.

I came back home to see the RAWs and after some SERIOUS cropping (see the last slide 😅) and color grading, I was quite happy with final result - I made the most out of that moment ⛓️

✖️PALM TREES SUPRA✖️

You know, I’m the kind of person who can’t just sit around and do nothing - so whenever there’s some free time, I take action. Just like in this case 📸

We were driving back home from Las Vegas and made a quick pit stop. The gas station was right next to this abandoned building in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by palm trees 🏜️🌴

I loved how Joel’s car looked covered in desert dust, so I looked at him and said, “Give me five minutes.” And that’s how these frames came to life.

I’m realizing that sometimes the best things come from not overthinking (something I’m still working on 😅)

One of the first things I saw after arriving at were these two gentlemen on dirt bikes running spiked tires.

It was the day before the event, when everything was still calm and all the cars were just gathering - the perfect moment for a quick shoot 📸

I went to Scandinavia for the first time in my life and man… it was one of the craziest experiences I’ve ever had 🥶

-35 degrees Celsius, reindeer everywhere, more snow than I could even comprehend - and everything we managed to do on top of that.
