Every testimonial reminds us that the impact of Drone Kids and Drone Girls goes far beyond the few days we spend together.

Shaquil shares a little about his experience at our 2026 camp, and for us, hearing our young participants speak about what they learned and enjoyed makes it all worthwhile.

The goal has always been to expose young people to technology, spark curiosity and give them an opportunity to explore skills and possibilities they may not encounter every day.

Keep exploring, Shaq. Keep learning, keep challenging yourself and, of course, keep flying high!

Sometimes the things we “play around with” become the things we build a future around.

What started as an interest in drones has grown into real world applications, specialised services, training, partnerships and opportunities that continue to expand what is possible.

Through our collaboration with Altomaxx, we are taking that curiosity even further, combining expertise, technology and experience to deliver stronger drone and geospatial solutions.

We never really stopped playing around. It just looks a little different now.

A proud moment for Dragonfly, and one we are still celebrating.

Our joint venture with Altomaxx Offshore represents an important step in expanding access to advanced drone and geospatial solutions, strengthening local capacity and creating new opportunities for Guyana and the wider region.

Partnerships can open doors that growth alone sometimes cannot.

In this clip, Brian reflects on what it meant for Dragonfly, as a Guyanese company, to collaborate with Canadian company Altomaxx and secure a joint venture that expands what we can offer locally and regionally.

For us, this partnership represents more than a business opportunity. It is about combining expertise, strengthening local capacity and showing what is possible when companies choose to work together.

A proud moment for Dragonfly, and another step forward for the industry we are helping to build.

A milestone worth revisiting.

The launch of the Altomaxx x Dragonfly joint venture represented more than the coming together of two companies. It marked a shared commitment to strengthening Guyana’s capacity in drone technology, geospatial solutions and specialised data services.

By combining Dragonfly’s local knowledge, relationships and understanding of Guyana’s operating environment with Altomaxx’s international experience and technical expertise, we are creating greater access to advanced solutions while continuing to build local capability.

We were grateful to have government, private sector partners, industry stakeholders and friends join us as we officially introduced this partnership and shared our vision for what comes next.

For Dragonfly, this is the kind of growth we are proud of, strategic partnerships, knowledge transfer, new opportunities and Guyanese talent positioned to compete at an international level.

The JV is launched. Now, we build.

This week, we’re dedicating our content to a venture we’re incredibly proud of, and to the journey that has brought us here.

What started with a borrowed drone in 2020 has grown into something much bigger.
Dragonfly’s journey has been shaped by curiosity, continuous learning, bold opportunities and a commitment to finding new ways drone and geospatial technology can solve real problems.

Today, that journey continues through partnerships, including our collaboration with Altomaxx, which allows us to strengthen local capacity, expand our capabilities and connect Guyana to expertise and opportunities beyond our borders.

We’re proud of how far we’ve come, but even more excited about where this venture is taking us next.

Running and growing a business means wearing a lot of hats, and according to Brian, The Drone Guy, managing all of them is still a work in progress.

From flying and field operations to training, business development, networking, learning new technology and everything else that comes with building Dragonfly, there is always something demanding his attention.

In this clip, Brian shares how he manages his time… albeit, by his own admission, poorly sometimes.

The reality of entrepreneurship is that you may never feel like you have completely mastered the balancing act. You prioritise, adjust, learn and keep moving.
Still figuring it out. Still showing up. Still building.

Another young voice, another reason we continue to invest in the next generation.

Kailey Liverpool shares her experience at our 2026 Drone Kids and Drone Girls Camp, and we love hearing what the programme meant to her.

Every young person who walks through our doors brings a different curiosity, a different perspective and so much potential. Our job is simply to create the space for them to discover what they can do with it.

Keep learning, keep exploring and keep flying high, Kailey. We hope to see you in the skies again!

Before the technology, before the project and before the flight, there is a conversation.

Who are we helping? Where is the challenge? What are we trying to achieve?
For Dragonfly, understanding the people and the place is what allows technology to contribute meaningfully to progress.

Every good solution starts with knowing the point of interest.
