: Behind the Lens | 📍 Akosombo
The making of was a journey in itself, one that took us all the way to Akosombo, where the Volta River became the backdrop for a love story years in the making.
Eli and Nash didn't just want a pre-wedding shoot; they wanted a vision brought to life. Every scene, every outfit, every location, every prop was deliberate. They'd spent years imagining this moment, and it showed in how particular they were about getting it right.
It took four separate sessions to finally capture it all. On one shoot day in June, the skies had other plans; rain swept in and rewrote our script for us, forcing a postponement. Another day, the boat we'd envisioned for a key scene wasn't the one waiting for us at the hotel dock. So we improvised, adapted, and pushed that session too.
Every setback became part of the story. And in the end, wasn't just about the visuals we planned. It was about the persistence it took to get them right.
