This is one of my favourites from my Grandpa's box of negatives - I think these guys were just ahead of their time with a bit of "social distancing" - anyway kick back, relax and enjoy the Easter weekend

As many of you know the inspiration behind The Vintage Light was my discovery of "The Parrot Chocolate Box" containing several hundred of my Grandpa's negatives these range from about 1919 through to about 1936 - I've now got some time to work through and restore some of them. They have been badly treated over the years - but it is quite a thrill to bring these images to life for the first time in nearly 100 years!!!

This is a small selection of images taken around Dublin some time I think before 1922 - can you identify any of the buildings, places do you have any stories associated with these places - I'd love to hear from you.
