This session was less about smiling at the camera, more about being together.

I loved being invited into their family and watching them just connect, it honestly felt like I was watching magic happen, right in front of me.

We did some acorn hunting, flower picking, some kite flying with all the little moments in between.

Such a lovely afternoon, I felt I was just included in their little adventure and I adored it 🍃⛅️

When I tell you this little girl was an absolute DREAM… I’m not exaggerating 🥹🤍

She slept through the entire session despite the heatwave we were having, while mum and dad absolutely powered through (meanwhile I was making the most of the air con 😂❤️)

Honestly, being invited into those precious newborn days never gets old. It’s such an honour to capture your family in this little baby bubble, the love, the exhaustion, the excitement… all of it ✨

Such an honour to meet this family from across the pond and capture their time here. We got so lucky with the weather, which made the scenery even more beautiful.

This session reminded me why I love what I do. If I didn’t do this job, I wouldn’t meet people like them, hear about their time in London, their jobs, their family, what they’re studying, and the things they are currently into.

What a privilege 🤍

If this isn’t your sign to finally book the photoshoot… I don’t know what is ☁️✨

Because the truth is, there will never be a “perfect” time.
The house will still be messy. The kids will still be growing too fast. Life will still feel beautifully chaotic.

But one day, these moments will be the ones you miss the most 🤍

So this is your reminder to step into the frame, hold your people close, and preserve this chapter exactly as it is.

If you have been following me recently, you’ll see I’m trying to introduce more colour in my life and wardrobe.

And with that, I’m officially saying yes to a little more colour in your photos if you wish🌈

Don’t panic! Earthy neutrals will always have my heart. Those soft, timeless tones photograph beautifully and will never go out of style and I have space for that. 🤎

But I also have space for colour, I want to lean more into creating galleries that feel like you, not just aesthetically perfect.

Because the truth is, I don’t want you looking back at your photos thinking, “These are stunning… but that’s not really me.” (Trust me, I’ve been there)

I want you to feel comfortable. Confident. Like yourself. Like your family.

If your little girl lives in bright dresses, or your boy loves a big funky print, if your home has warmth and personality and if colour is part of your story. I want to embrace that with you, not strip it away.

Yes, this means slightly more work for me, all the prep before your session, the styling, the guidance, the voice notes, the WhatsApp messages and the “what do you think of this?” it takes a lot of time, effort and consideration.

But the goal for me has never been perfectly curated photos. It’s connection. Movement. Personality. Real moments in environments that feel natural to you.

So from now on, think of your session as more of a collaboration 🤍

We’ll work together with your location, your home, your personalities, and your style to create something that still feels beautiful and intentional… but also honest.

They met in Belgium one year and married the next. She was on holiday with her parents and he followed her back to the UK. The rest is history.

Married for 63 years and counting..

She enjoys knitting and their dog is his best friend. I wish I could have stayed all morning and had a catch up over a cuppa.

I just adore hearing the stories and it was such a privilege to be welcomed into their home.
