🎥 JULIA: BEHIND THE SEARCH — 13 DAYS MISSING
For 13 days, Julia was missing.
What followed was a search involving trail cameras, feeding stations, sightings, hours of monitoring, changing plans and plenty of moments where we had to decide what to do next.
I wanted to share what actually goes on behind the scenes of a lost dog search, so I’ve put together a YouTube video documenting Julia’s story from the early days of the search through to the moment she was finally safely secured using the Missy Trap.
The video explains what we did, why we did it and how the information we gathered helped shape each stage of the search.
Julia’s owner, Caroline, also features in the video, sharing her own experience of those 13 days and what it was like waiting and hoping for Julia to come home.
And, of course, we captured the moment we had all been waiting for… Julia finally safe. ❤️
If you’ve ever wondered what really goes into tracking and safely securing a frightened missing dog, this gives you a look behind the scenes at the whole process.
