🚨 REMMY IS STILL MISSING 🚨

Despite an incredible effort over the past 29 days, Remmy is still missing.

For weeks, there have been cameras deployed every night and we have been closely monitoring the area. We have received fantastic support from local landowners who kindly allowed us access to their land, and we are extremely grateful for their help.

Unfortunately, during this time, two of our £100 cameras have been deliberately vandalised and destroyed, while a third was removed and thrown into a bush. Thankfully, we managed to recover it. These incidents have made the search much more challenging and extremely expensive.

Remmy’s owners have done everything possible to bring him home, but he is an exceptionally street smart dog and has managed to avoid detection, with only occasional camera sightings confirming his location.

We now believe Remmy may have moved on from the area we were watching, so we are asking residents in Bournemouth and Branksome to keep a lookout for him.

If you see Remmy, please call:

📞 +44 7894 348990

Or send a direct message to our page.

⚠️ Please do not call out to him, approach him, or attempt to catch him. Doing so could cause him to run and make it even harder to bring him safely home.

We understand that many people want updates and information about the search. However, we will not share information outside of the active search team. The owners’ privacy is important, and if they wish to share additional information, they will do so themselves.

Comments have been turned off on this post to prevent sightings being shared publicly. If you have information, please contact us directly.

Please help us by sharing this post as widely as possible. The more people who are aware that Remmy is missing, the greater the chance that someone will spot him and report a sighting. Even a single sighting could be the breakthrough needed to bring him safely home.

Thank you once again to everyone who has supported the search and continues to help.

🐾 Introducing Dog Tracker Pro – Built By Searchers, For Searchers

Over the years, I’ve been involved in countless lost dog searches through Eye In The Sky. One of the biggest challenges has always been managing information, sightings, search areas, drone flights, and keeping everyone working from the same plan.

That’s why I built Dog Tracker Pro.

Dog Tracker Pro is a professional search management app designed specifically for lost dog search teams, volunteers, drone pilots, and organisations involved in locating missing dogs.

The app has already been used on numerous real life searches, helping teams organise information, coordinate resources, and make better decisions in the field.

Key Features:

✅ Plot lost points, sightings, home locations and vehicle parking locations

✅ Add the dog’s usual walking routes and key locations

✅ Plan and record drone flight operations

✅ Share live updates with search teams

✅ Measure distances between sightings for behavioural analysis

✅ Keep all critical search information in one place

✅ Designed specifically for lost dog search operations

Whether you’re managing a local volunteer search, running a professional lost dog team, or supporting searches with drones, Dog Tracker Pro helps you stay organised and work more effectively.

📱 Available now on the Apple App Store

6 days missing. One year later… ❤️

It was amazing to catch up with Ben, Luke and Red over a year after we helped search for Red when she went missing in the New Forest for 6 long days.

Moments like this are why we do what we do. Seeing Red happy, safe and back with her family means everything.

Great to see you all again ❤️

The Eye In The Sky team are at Dogstival this weekend and we can’t wait to see you all there.

We absolutely love this event. It gives us the chance to meet fellow dog owners, share stories, offer tips and advice, and spend time with an amazing community that cares so deeply about dogs.

If you’re heading to Dogstival this weekend, make sure you come over and say hello. And if you’re not going… why not?

A huge thank you to the Dogstival team for the invitation and for helping raise funds to support the work we do.

REMMY UPDATE

We wanted to update everyone on the search for Remmy, as there seems to be some misinformation circulating that could affect a safe rescue.

Firstly, we want to reassure everyone that over the last 3–4 days we have been successfully tracking Remmy. We’ve had him on cameras, monitored his movements, and we now know the areas he is using. We have now entered the next stage of the rescue process and are working to bring him home safely, just as we did before.

We’ve also seen comments suggesting that nobody is helping or that the owners are not doing anything. We can assure you this is completely untrue. For the last 10 days and nights, we have been following up sightings, moving cameras, setting up feeding stations, and monitoring activity constantly. The owners have been out with us and also carrying out work on their own. This included the both of us being out again untill 03:30 this morning.

It is because of this incredible effort and dedication that we have managed to track and physically see Remmy. However, securing a dog in this situation cannot be rushed.

We are now urgently asking people not to go out searching for him. The route Remmy is currently taking is considered safe, but any additional pressure could cause him to panic, move into dangerous areas, or leave the location entirely. If that happens, the entire process may have to start again from the beginning.

If you do happen to see Remmy, please do not approach, call, or follow him. Simply ignore him and call 07894 348990.

Please continue sharing this update into local groups so people understand the current situation and know exactly what to do if they see him.

Thank you all for your continued support.

☀️ HOT WEATHER CAN BE DANGEROUS FOR DOGS ☀️

As temperatures rise, it’s important to remember that dogs can overheat very quickly and heatstroke can become life-threatening in minutes.

Here are some important DOs and DON’Ts to help keep dogs safe during hot weather.

🐶 DO:
✅ Walk early morning or later in the evening
✅ Carry water on every walk
✅ Check pavements with your hand before walking
✅ Provide constant shade and fresh water
✅ Use cooling mats, paddling pools, or damp towels
✅ Watch for signs of overheating:
• Heavy panting
• Excessive drooling
• Weakness or wobbling
• Vomiting
• Collapse

❌ DON’T:
🚫 Walk dogs during the hottest part of the day
🚫 Leave dogs in cars — even for minutes
🚫 Force exercise in hot weather
🚫 Assume all dogs cope the same (flat-faced breeds, older dogs, overweight dogs and puppies are higher risk)
🚫 Let dogs overheat before taking action

⚠️ If you suspect heatstroke:
Move the dog to shade immediately, start cooling with cool (not ice cold) water, and contact a vet urgently.

📍The Danger Map app now shows both air temperature and ground temperature for the area you’re walking in, helping dog owners make safer decisions before heading out.

Go check it out on the App Store link in comments.

Please think ahead during warm weather. What feels comfortable to us can be dangerous for dogs.
