I'm off for a visit to Brampton Cliff and Flamborough. Hopefully I will Get some Puffin Photos today, but I know I will not be disappointed either way - My Happy place. Just a few photos from a couple of weeks ago, Razorbills, A cute sparrow and some resting as the sunsets.

Please read and repost or share if you want to help. NatureScot are allowing young Gannets to be taken from their nests . Young Gannets are called Guga’s and are being killed and eaten as a delicacy.
I very rarely make a protest but I love seeing the Gannets at RSPB Bempton cliffs . They are gorgeous and very fascinating birds that migrate 1000’s of mile often returning to the colonies where they were raised. Thankfully numbers are increasing at RSPB BEMPTON , but at Bass Rock and other places bird flu has returned and is wiping out many juvenile and breeding Gannets. So a few questions:
Why are NatureScot allowing young Gannets to be taken from their nests and be eaten as a delicacy?
Why are RSPB in the uk not highlighting this at their uk sites, making visitors aware and asking them to sign the petition if they disagree with these killings?
Why are NatureScot allowing this to continue and provide a licence for it to happen?
If young Gannet’s are removed and killed they cannot return to breed and therefore the population will decline. They are taking advantage of migrating birds and their strong connection to their breeding colonies.
Gannets. are known for strong site fidelity, meaning they display remarkable precision in returning to the specific colony where they were reared to establish their own nests.
Please read the letter attached from the Scottish animal wildlife commissioner to the cabinet secretary and please share and sign the petition if you love Gannets as much as I.
I hope RSPB step up to and highlight this despicable act. I feel awful seeing the beautiful Gannets at Bempton knowing 500 to 2000 newly born Gannets are being killed and eaten in Scotland, just a few hundred miles away, while at the other end of the country Gannet’s are dying from bird flu.

Meet Morris the gorgeous Red Setter, I had the pleasure to meet - out enjoying himself in the fields back in the summer - on quite a moody evening.
I've edited this today after some searching- a lesson to learn never throw away those snaps - you just never know when they may come in handy. He's just gorgeous.
