The Devils Punchbowl, Surrey.

When Thor tried to strike down the Devil with thunder and lightning, the Devils took a handful of earth and hurled it at Thor. The Devils Punchbowl is what was left. Or so they say!

Chalbury Hillfort, Weymouth. Located just off Combe Valley Road is the ancient remains of Chalbury Hillfort. Many people will have driven past this fort thousands of times and not have known of its existence. I’ve often driven past and wanted to get an aerial view, so yesterday I sent out the drone to have a look for me.

This Hillfort dates back to the Bronze Age. It is nestled along the ridge way, giving a commanding view over Weymouth bay. There would have been at least 30 huts, 20 storage pits and strip fields nearby suggest fairly complex agriculture.
