Moments with Lisa | In Motion

A special project with a dear friend. This was a unique project for me - a different way of seeing, a new way of working - but every moment in the studio felt familiar and full of joy. Dance photography is a brand new experience, but couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

Lisa, thank you. For your trust, your commitment. After years of knowing and working together, we arrived here, and I’ve loved the images we’ve created. Taking a long time to edit these reminded me of the joy you can have from the patience of photography, something quite rare nowadays.

Hello 2025 ✌️ - I’m deeply grateful to have worked with some of the most iconic and talented artists in the industry this year, including an unforgettable collaboration with the legendary through . It’s a collaboration that has always meant so much to us here.

This industry is complicated, often unforgiving, and constantly shifting. It’s not an easy path for anyone, and I’ve watched people far more talented than myself face struggles and sacrifices just to keep their dreams going. Every small victory feels huge right now; and the fight to keep creating, to keep doing what you love, is what truly matters.

So with that, to everyone I’ve met, collaborated with, or shared a moment with in 2024 - thank you. I don’t take any of it for granted. Here’s to a peaceful, thriving 2025 for all artists, creatives and dreamers. 🖤

The Odeon in Weston has a new owner! 📽🎉🙌

We’ve been in discussions with the Odeon regarding their plans for the future of the site since the historic, art-deco building closed two months ago. We’re very pleased to confirm that merlin cinemas bought the cinema earlier today!

Councillor Mike Bell, our council Leader and ward member for Weston-super-Mare Central, said “This is great news for the town and I'm really pleased that after such a short period of closure, the cinema will soon be back to doing what it does best.

"I’ve spoken to Merlin Cinemas today and assured them of our support for their work to maintain cinema operations at the building. I am confident, with community support, we can embark on a positive and sustainable future for this landmark site.

"Merlin has assured me that they will be valuing and promoting the much-loved Compton organ and the role the building has at the heart of the town centre. They're hoping to reopen the cinema again in the near future and will be developing a short and long-term investment plan to improve the building, including the listed features.

"Their investment is another sign of confidence in Weston town centre and the work we're doing together to share all that is great about living in, working in and visiting our town."

merlin cinemas is an independent cinema chain which specialises in operating character and predominantly coastal cinemas. They already run 17 cinemas across the country, most of which are in the south west.
