We’ve all had these in our gardens, little blighters! I have a red ant and a black ant nest about 2ft apart in mine at the moment, so hard to photograph as they’re moving so fast all the time! I did manage to grab these during all the commotion, plus as I was crouched down they crawled all over me and my camera! 😳

More macros, Vespula Vulgaris (wasp), Lasioglossum calceatum (common furrow bee) and a Dandelion (Taraxacum). The Dandelion has tiny creatures which are just visible if you view full screen and zoom right in, and the small furrow bee has pollen on its thorax/abdomen.

Macro flower and seed photography, I only noticed the tiny beastie hiding in photo number 3 after I took it, the seed was tiny so this must be minuscule! All taken in the evening light with flash and a home made diffuser Westbury, Wiltshire.
