Today I walked up Lawley Hill in the Shropshire Hills. It’s not the tallest hill around, but the ridge linking over to Caer Caradoc makes it feel like a proper little adventure.

The views from the top were well worth the chilly wind, with landmarks like the Wrekin standing out in the distance.

The highlight, though, was the lambs roaming freely across the hillside - one minute feeding, the next sprinting around like it was the height of summer. Definitely made the walk feel extra special.

Have you ever been to bingo with a twist?

Last night we headed along to Eyes Down in Telford, Shropshire – a comedy thriller bingo night hosted by the one and only Bertie Bingo! Between the laughs, the prizes, and a little murder on the side, the interactive story kept the audience guessing and added a fun theatrical spin to a classic game.

There were around six bingo games with smaller prizes scattered throughout the evening, but the real focus was the entertainment and unfolding mystery. Our hall was a little cold during the performance, but drinks were reasonably priced, the dabbers were free, and we had lots of laughs. Children were welcome too!
