Happy 1st birthday to our little Axel. It’s incredible how much can happen in a year. Our family has experienced both highs and lows, with a lot going on behind the scenes… I’ve been battling postnatal depression, whilst being diagnosed with ADHD. Supporting my mum, Anabelle, through her cancer diagnosis, the endless appointments, and tough treatments she’s had to endure—she’s been so strong, and I’m constantly inspired by her courage and resilience. We’ve faced health scares with my partner, Alex, who has still managed to be my rock and support through all of these hardships, and is the best daddy to our three children—I’m beyond grateful to have you. Juggling life with a newborn and two extremely energetic children, Mila (6 going on 16) and Mabel (in her 3-nager era), all whilst trying to keep our family business running from home. It hasn’t been easy; there were days that felt impossible, and it has been overwhelming for us all. The love, laughter, and lighthearted moments with three little ones kept us going throughout it all; they brought light to the darkest days, and for that I am grateful.
If you’re having a tough time too, just know you’re not alone. They say there’s always light at the end of the tunnel, even if you can’t see it right now. As a family, we’re here for you.
One of the most uplifting parts of this year has been meeting and photographing so many beautiful newborns and their families. Each session has brought us so much joy in being able to capture precious first moments and memories that will be treasured for a lifetime. A heartfelt thank you to all those families who have trusted us to be a part of your journey!
And now… I’m officially off maternity! I’m excited to share all the precious photos John, our talented photographer (and the most amazing dad/grandad), has captured of your beautiful little bundles.
Swipe to see the last photo of Axel now, one year on! 🥹
