It was unseasonably warm for a bank holiday yesterday. We decided on a trip to Old Portsmouth to undertake a Mystery Guides tour. Whilst there I decided to take a stroll down Broad Street from the Square Tower to the Spice Island Inn

What a lovely afternoon! Quite unusual for an English Bank Holiday, and not what the forecast, eh, forecast. So I managed to get my drone up above Portsdown hill and did a little fly-over of Fort Purbrook and the front nine of Crookhorn gold course.

The plane graveyard at Dunsfold Aerodrome, in the evening light, is a magical, atmospheric place. It was great to be able to get up close and personal with the old aircraft.

Sunday was a day of driving around three counties, Hampshire, Surrey, and West Sussex, looking for a site for a balloon ride. We eventually took off from Billingshurst. Just over an hour later, we set down at Dunsfold Aerodrome. I was on the ground with a camera, whilst my wife and grandson soured above the ground. These are the images.

Another lovely afternoon in Old Portsmouth. I DEFINATELY did not take the same photos I always take, and there is DEFINATELY not another photo of the Spinnaker Tower, it's a photo of a superyacht. The tower just happens to be in the background!

What a lovely day for a walk along Southsea Seafront yesterday. It's great to see the new promenade and sea defences.
