The puppy stage is a whirlwind. Before you know it, it's gone.

The puppies grow up. The photographs don't.

TEXAS

Playful. Puppy. Personality.

There’s always something special about working with a young dog — so much to see, sniff, and explore.

From my side of the lens, there’s nothing better than capturing dogs being dogs… with a bit of guidance along the way.

Texas was brilliant from start to finish. Took everything in his stride — already a natural in front of the camera.

A lot can change in a few weeks when you’re a pup — it doesn’t stay like this for long.

I think a follow-up might be needed…

Be the hero of your own story.

This was taken on our recent road trip to Ireland — one of those quiet moments where everything just came together.

It’s since been recognised by both the UKPPA and the international WPE, which makes it even more special.

Wall worthy?
I’d say so.

TRACKER

Friendly. Proud. Curious.

Broadway is always special — but this one hit differently.

Completely relaxed in front of the camera. Immaculately groomed. Quietly self-assured. Tracker brought everything.

This image went on to become a finalist in the UK Photography Print Awards — earning double silver from both the UKPPA and the international WPE. Watching five industry-leading photographers review and critique it was an incredible experience.

We didn’t set out to create an award image.
We set out to create something honest.

FOX

See. Point. Go!

Kicking off 2026 with the fantastic Mr. Fox.

Nothing beats a good swim, whatever the time of year — especially if there’s a stick involved. To Fox, everything wooden is a stick… regardless of size, or whether it’s still attached to the tree.

There’s never a dull moment when Fox is around.
His dad’s pretty cool too.

‘Twas the night before Christmas, and not a single pup on the naughty list!

A heartfelt thank you to every one who has supported 17eight this year! It’s been a whirlwind and we can’t wait to see what 2026 brings!
