The voices of nature are calling me, I hear them drawing me outside. His beautiful head is alert, watching me over the stable door, hoping. Saddled up, we go off at the gallop, our breaths dissipating into the chilly spring air. Past the woods, down the hill & a leap over the brook into the wooded glade. We absorb the sheer size of the universeand just how small we are. And in that moment we feel

exhilarated, excited, loved and lucky to be part of the magic. From the journal of a Claire aged 12, but this is just as relevant to today at it ever was. The magic of our natural world inspires my photos and my paintings.
