K I N D N E S S
Today, I complimented a stranger on her hair, & it made her smile. A kind word costs nothing but can mean so much. It can make that small difference, giving a bit of hope.
If you are struggling, please reach out to someone you trust, or maybe you prefer a voice at the end of the phone. Anyone can have suicidal thoughts at any point during their life.

Thanks to Adam from Access to Work, who spoke with me today about what support is available while I navigate Brian, my lovely brain, while waiting for a full Audhd assessment.
(3 years, 2 months wait so far)
Why get assessed? Will it make a difference?
Doesn't everyone have Adhd, Add, Audhd?
The full assessment is MY choice.
I have been apologising my entire life for being ME.
Things that affect me:
Impulsively - buying food I already have ! 5 cucumbers for me! 😂 the guilt & shame of wasting food/money. Buying items when dysregulated, low dopamine, or due to boredom including clothes that do not get sent back, items for a hobby I will lose interest in and never use/wear.
Time Blindness - not eating/drinking & then too overwhelmed to cook. I have a diploma in hotel, catering, & institutional operations & spent 10 years as a chef in the military 🪖 & working in hotels in King's Cross & Richmond, London!
Adhd Tax - deliveries for food when I have no energy to cook or (cost of deliery/service) because the lights, noise, smells of supermarkets can be overwhelming when dysregulation kicks in.
Hyperfocus - I may get snappy! Emotional dysregulation - having a melt down at
Inanimate objects, swearing/hitting door handles when my clothing gets caught, interrupting hyperfocus.
Inner compass faulty - lost cars/late 🚗 Adhd tax: parking fines & much more, including RSD! Brian is amazing but hugely debilitating!
Thank you to all of the charities for their tireless work & amazing volunteers! 🎗💙🕊
