Just came across this.

As well as doing the odd cameo, John le Carré would hang around set some days during filming of The Night Manager S1. And I was lucky enough to have a few chats with him. A man interesting and interested. And sharp as a proverbial tack.

Here, playing a restaurant guest and discussing some finer point with Mr Hiddleston

RIP fella.

Shot and set in Jamaica, Marlon James written story of London cop, played by Tamara Lawrence, going back to her roots featured a community of Trans women living in rain culverts. I thought it was a bit far-fetched until one of the Jamaican advisors told me to google ‘Gully Queens’.

All grounded in real events.

Gritty story but at times, like these, great fun to shoot.
