Yesterday (Thursday 4th December) saw the annual battle with Southport PS, judged by James Hardy. Southport won by 3 points. We had 2 images which scored the maximum 20 points, Where Shadows Rest and Taransay from Sheileboist Beach

If you attended Lytham St Annes Photographic Society’s exhibition, Photoshow 2025, you’ll know that we ask our visitors to make a note of their favourite prints on feedback/comments slips.
By the end of the exhibition’s two week run we had received almost a thousand votes!

The two most popular images with our visitors, by far, were both by Peter Darby, whose ‘Kestrel with a Mouse’ came a very close second to the winner ‘Rufus the Baby Orangutan’.

Both these images will be on display at the Artisan Mill art gallery in Dicconson Terrace until the end of September.

Well that’s it for another year. Photoshow 2025 was a roaring success. We are now getting ready for our new season which starts with an enrolment and open evening on 4th September at the Well community centre on St Albans road in St Anne’s (next to the YMCA). You can chat to members and join on the night.

Photoshow 2025

Every year Lytham St Annes Photographic Society is proud to present our annual Photoshow. This is an exhibition of 300 prints and 300 digital slideshow images produced by our members – probably the largest club exhibition in the North West.

This year Photoshow will be held between 2nd and 16th August at The Drive Methodist Church Hall, East Bank Road, St Annes, FY8 1ND. There is a small area for parking and best of all, entry to Photoshow is free. So if you are in St Annes, please do come along to take a look.

Opening times:-

Mon – Fri: 10am – 6pm
Sat 2nd and 9th: 10am – 5pm
Sat 16th: 10am – 2pm
Closed Sundays
