Chose to work hair and MUA on a short on my birthday, got pampered first and of course my wife bought me beautiful flowers. Thank you to the universe for making me a Ta**us, I love BIG relaxing but I also love being creative and getting paid for it 😌

I don’t think I could’ve been a Lucien Freud admirer before I was a fan. I think it always had to be the way that from her perspectives, his work and life featuring her was always meant to be my entry point. Their relationship and her descriptions of him are of such interest because they come from her, from a daughter’s perspective. I think it might even be more interesting being a Freud daughter than Lucien himself. Probably my favourite is the dog he drew her for her fashion brand, simple and so not simple at the same time but extremely diverse in transferring mediums, as mentioned by Bella in this conversation with Sarah Howgate at . The last time I saw Luciens work and for the first time his etchings of her were at the Titanic museum in Belfast. So grateful to have gotten to see these first before listening to her speak about them tonight

Brigid is now out and into the world for all of you to hear. Not only did I not expect to end the year on starting a band with my wife, I didn’t expect to have something to share to soon!! I am so grateful to expand mediums and share the gift of sound with someone I truly love. I look forward to the rest of this project with you and cherish this song so immensely all ready too. Thank you to everyone that helped with the video, to our mates that have listened to this song over and over in every iteration of it’s existence and of course to my wife who wrote, planned, constructed and formed this song and project, but who is the wheelhouse of this format while it’s all new to me but I’ll pick up the pace soon 🖤

Nawlins!! Travelling to the states is always a little anxiety inducing, especially to the south but the French quarter of NOLA is so camp I’m actually missing it already and it’s been less than 24hrs. When we landed though, I felt really calm and that calmness stayed for the whole trip. I have a really delightful ritual of loosing control of my insides on the first night if any trip, sometimes more severe than others. Due to the realisation of being so far from home but this time I got through the first night in actual peace (and exhaustion from 24hrs of being awake for travel) travelling has been for lack of a better term..a bumpy ride but it has been so worth pushing through the scary to get to discovering some of the coolest people, cultures and scenery so far. Very grateful for having the most comforting person by side to do it with too 🖤
