For the past few weeks I've been working with local artist Christine Gibson on digitising and creating Giclee prints of her fabulous mixed media pieces, currently coming off the printer - in time for Melbourne Festival

I am also creating a set of greetings cards based on her artwork, this one "Peach Melba" perfectly suits the square 150x150mm format.

I'm happy to be able to reveal that for the last few weeks, as part of a collaboration between Castle Lane Studios and Acres Engineering Melbourne, we have been working on the design, fabrication, fitting and sign writing of a new sign for Melbourne's CoE Parish Church, next to Melbourne Hall - as a donation to the church and town.

The final peel was rather satisfying 🤣

The sign also features an A2 waterproof poster frame, which I can print to fit.

I don't do a lot of signage, ( I don't really advertise it as a service) but do have a few customers around town such as Forteys and Eighty Seven | Women's Fashion - I'm always happy to have a chat if you have a need - Shop signs, A- Boards, Window decals, Car/van decals etc.

Sadly the best photo I got was a BTS of my camera taking a photo of the eclipse.

I'd planned the location, but sadly a 90% eclipse turned out to still be quite bright!!!

Oh well, roll on 2090.

We've been without a "Non-Art" printer for a while now (greetings cars, leaflets etc), so it feels good to be back !

The bonus: it's about 1/4 the length of the previous one, so it can live in the office and not take up a large part of the studio :-D
