There is so much noise in the world, but here it was just the sound of the wind and the weight of him in their arms. I've always found that you don't need to see a face to feel the depth of a connection.

Sometimes the most honest part of a story is found in the way a hand grips and jacket or a sleepy head settles into a shoulder.

I'm always happy to capture a session this way. Protecting a child's privacy doesn't mean loosing the memory; it just means focusing on the quiet 'anonymous' moments that's actually make up a life.

Keeping the magic for them, and the feeling for the rest of us. ✨

Hello! I’m Caylee, the soul behind The Sussex Storyteller.

I don’t just take "pictures." I capture the quiet, wild fragments of your life that usually go untold. The way your toddler’s hand fits perfectly in yours, the soft weight of a new life before they arrive, and those hazy, first days at home when the world feels like it’s standing still.

I believe in raw connection over stiff poses. I believe in the magic of our Sussex landscapes and the beauty of your real, messy, wonderful love.
