🌹 The epitome of country living!

I photographed this beautiful cottage last Summer, as this client knew they would be putting their house on the market in early 2026. They knew that the weather doesn’t necessarily play ball this time of year (and goodness weren’t they right!) ☔️

By having the foresight to take the photos when their garden and weather looked the best they put themself in prime position to stand out on Rightmove and on their chosen estate agents website and socials.

Now for a bit about me….I don’t just do property photogrpahy, I have many strings to my bow; property videography, drone/aerial shots/videography and property content creation.

❤️ You know I love a kitchen and this one was no exception, it’s in an idyllic chocolate box cottage and is coming to market very soon!

This client, as per my previous post staged the property with simple props which just brought the property to life when I photographed it.

🎀 Property staging: Is it really worth it? In my opinion, absolutely!

🪴Whether you’re selling your home or marketing your Airbnb, staging helps people visualise themselves ‘being’ in the space. It turns a plain or empty room into a lifestyle. (As cheesy 🧀 as that sounds)

This client took my advice and added a few props (actually quite a lot of props!) afternoon tea was set up in the drawing room, breakfast in the kitchen and a full dinner table was set (complete with flowers) in the vast vaulted dining room…and look at the difference. The property feels warm, lived in and inviting, exactly what you want when you’re trying to attract buyers or guests.

It makes my life much easier and I love it when clients are immensely proud to show me what they have done to get their property ‘photo ready’!

This bungalow in Sherford is an absolute beauty!

Complete with indoor sauna (yes an indoor sauna!) it’s been beautifully decorated, super bright and with a secluded large garden.
It made for a very happy job!

💫 Sweeping staircase envy!

This staircase has the definite wow factor as you enter this Georgian inspired 5 bedroom new build property in Staplegrove.

So many feature points to capture of the staircase alone, not to mention the magnificent chandelier which adorns the hallway. Opulent Bathroom and kitchen shots to follow….

✨ Why drone property photography makes all the difference ✨

Swipe to the last photo 👉🏻to see the same angle captured by the original agent. The original image was taken from ground level, unlike the elevation shot I have taken here for illustrative purposes.

📸The photo didn’t reflect the size or scale of the property, it looks 2D and you can’t see how large the house is. As a result the owners had no viewings for the time they were on the market with their previous agent. To the side of the property there is also a large hedge which meant with conventional ground level photography, you just wouldn’t be able to capture the scale of the property.

🏡 Fast forward to now and I was instructed by the new agent to take elevated drone photography and the transformation is instantaneous; you can now appreciate the size of the property all in glorious 3D!

There’s something magical about stepping into a home that holds centuries of stories. Every time I work with , it feels like a journey through time and Tone Dale House was no exception.

From sweeping staircases to arched doorways and that glorious traditional kitchen. This former mill owner’s mansion is steeped in character and history. The original features are so beautiful.

When I’m asked to shoot a video for a website and portraits for Instagram, it’s about capturing the essence of a space and those gorgeous features, helping people imagine themselves living, celebrating, and relaxing there. Which I hope you think I’ve achieved with some of the shots I’m sharing here.
