I'm a self taught amateur and still have a lot to learn but I hope you enjoy the images I produce. I mostly enjoy taking photo's of nature as that's where I love to spend my time - in the big outdoors, in all weathers. I confess to not being into the technology side of photography, and my kit consists of one bridge camera, one filter and a spare SD card, oh and an old little Nikon compact, that'

s it! So, if you're looking for amazing shots of birds of prey in flight or extreme macro shots, you won't find them here, what I hope you will find is something a little different and unique. Maybe one day I'll have myself a lovely DSLR but I'm not that bothered - it's the process that matters to me and the wonderful discoveries I make along the way. I love to take shots of mushrooms, they are fabulous subjects; very abundant in the autumn and they stay still. :-)

The editing software I use is Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 but I still have an awful lot to learn about it. I do sometimes 'tidy up' the shots I take and I also 'enhance' them, occasionally I just want to add a little bit of magic, and every so often they are straight out of camera. This is my first website and it is very much a work in progress so do drop by from time to time to see how it develops, hopefully it will improve once I've got the hang of things, (but no promises!).
