St. James's Park in London is one of the first places I walked when I visited the city for the first time in 2007. It's still as beautiful today and I'm glad we're only a short walk away now.

When the only things you can do during lockdown are take walks and go to the grocery - you make the most of it! We are mapping out some favorite walks around the Kingston area and are trying out some recipes. What have you been up to??

Found a few Christmas booths in Kingston today and enjoyed some currywurst, brining a bit of Berlin to us in England. Longing to be able to travel again but enjoying finding ways to incorporate traditions from around the world into our celebrations here!

Sometimes the most beautiful thing is right outside your front door.
Being in Bushy Park is like going back in time. It includes pieces of medieval farmland, a deer park from Tudor times, water gardens from the 1600’s and even housed wartime campsites during WWI and WWII. Today, it is a free green space for everyone, and boy do people make use of it. It’s so vast, however, that there is ample space even on the busiest of days. Expect to see more images of this gorgeous place, as it’s just five minutes from our front door!
