A little behind the scenes with GD Media, where getting the shot means giving every plate the attention it deserves.

There’s a lot of work that goes into food before it reaches the table, and our job is to make sure that care comes through in the photographs. Finding the light, choosing the angle and capturing those little details that make you stop scrolling and start thinking about dinner. 🤤

We love working with people who take pride in what they create. Getting to tell their story through our lens is one of the best parts of the job.

Keeping our hands off the food until we’ve finished? That takes considerably more discipline. 😂

📸 GD MEDIA DOES VEGAS.

There are work trips… and then there are GD Media work trips. 😂🇺🇸

Las Vegas was obviously about getting the job done — cameras rolling, stories captured and delivering what we came halfway around the world to create.

But one of the things we love about GD Media is the people we get to do this stuff with.

And is a massive part of that. 🤝

Give him a camera, drop him onto Fremont Street during a Raiders weekend and apparently this is what happens. 📸🔥

While we were in Vegas, Rich got amongst the madness and captured some absolute characters — particularly the incredible Raiders Nation. 🏴‍☠️☠️

The outfits.
The passion.
The personalities.
The sheer bloody madness of Las Vegas. 🎰🌃

This wasn’t really work.

No brief. No client. No shot list.

Just one of the GD Media team doing what we all got into this industry to do in the first place:

Picking up a camera and creating because we fu***ng love it.

And that’s a huge part of GD Media.

We work hard. We take what we do seriously. But we’re also incredibly lucky that we get to travel, experience places like this and do it alongside people we genuinely enjoy working with.

Rich had an absolute blast shooting these.

And looking through the frames afterwards… you can tell. 👏🔥

🇺🇸 WE TOOK GD MEDIA TO VEGAS. 🎥🎰

A few weeks ago, Us two blokes from Somerset packed far too much camera gear and headed to Las Vegas to shoot a wedding. 🤯

And if we’re honest… we’re still feeling the effects of it. 😂

We landed back in the UK and went straight back into work, so we’ve barely had time to stop and appreciate just how bloody special this trip was.

We travelled to Vegas to capture the incredible elopement wedding of Harrison and Jade Marshall-Miller — and what an experience it turned out to be. 💍🌵🎬

Harrison and Jade, thank you. ❤️

Thank you for trusting us enough to fly us halfway across the world to document one of the biggest days of your lives. Being given that responsibility is something we’ll never take for granted.

And as for Vegas…

What. A. Place. 🎰🔥

The Strip. Fremont Street. The desert. The characters. The light. The noise. The ridiculousness of it all.

For two filmmakers, it was basically a giant playground.

But this trip did something else too.

It pushed us creatively.
It tested us.
It brought us closer as a team.
And it reminded us why we started doing this in the first place.

To go places. Meet incredible people. Experience things we wouldn’t normally experience. And come home with stories worth telling. 🎥🌍

And we’ve definitely come home wanting more.

MORE ELOPEMENTS. MORE DESTINATIONS. MORE ADVENTURES. 💍✈️

Vegas was the first.

It certainly won’t be the last.

We’ve got loads from this trip that we haven’t even shown you yet, and over the next few weeks we’re finally going to start sharing it. 👀🎬

One final shoutout to for sorting the shirt and making sure I looked slightly less like I’d just stepped off a film set for five minutes. 😂🤝

We’ve landed, found our feet and we’re getting well and truly into the Las Vegas vibe. 🌴☀️

There’s something pretty special about travelling halfway across the world with cameras in hand, ready to tell another story.

And tomorrow, it’s a big one. 💍❤️

We’ll be capturing a stunning Las Vegas wedding — the people, the atmosphere, the little moments and all the madness that makes a wedding here completely unforgettable.

Tonight, we soak up Vegas.

🔥 Sound familiar? 🎙️

If your audio sounds harsh, sharp, or just plain uncomfortable to listen to… there’s a good chance it isn’t your microphone. It’s how you’re using it.

Getting too close to the mic, over-pronouncing your S’s, T’s, P’s and B’s, and forgetting basic mic technique can turn great content into something people subconsciously switch off.

In this reel, I’m having a little rant (for good reason 🤣) about one of the biggest mistakes I see creators, presenters and businesses making over and over again.

🎧 Better audio doesn’t always mean buying more expensive gear.
🎤 Sometimes it just means learning how to use the gear you’ve already got.

Watch the reel, save it for your next shoot, and tag someone who definitely needs to hear this… preferably from a little further away from the mic. 😅

✨ There’s something truly special about watching a chef at the very top of their craft. ✨

Yesterday, we had the privilege of spending the day with Chef Carl Cleghorn | Modern British Cooking | Bold Flavours as he created a completely bespoke wedding menu for an intimate celebration. Every dish was carefully designed around the couple, proving that incredible food isn’t about the size of the event—it’s about creating unforgettable moments. 🤍

These beautifully handcrafted canapés were a masterclass in precision, flavour and presentation. Delicate, elegant and bursting with personality, each bite was designed to spark conversation and evoke a little nostalgia, reminding guests of familiar flavours reimagined in a luxurious way. 🍽️✨

It’s this level of thought, creativity and passion that makes every wedding menu unique. No shortcuts. No compromises. Just exceptional ingredients, meticulous attention to detail and a dining experience your guests will remember long after the last plate has been cleared.
