4th September - what are you up to?

How about joining us for the next Lunch Club - London? See you there for some lunch? Yummy food and good company what more could you want? We’re heading to The Alma, opposite the station at Wandsworth Town.

I’ll be hosting alongside , with guests , Jodie Newman and Glen Sturgess for a chat around the theme of ‘curiosity’. How do we use it to supercharge our thinking? What results are possible from good ‘curious’ thinking skills? What wonderful things can come of being more curious?

What's missing from these event photographs?

Nothing! I see it and capture it all.

Rarely will I miss a moment that needs to be in the photographs. Meaning you end up with all the photography you could possibly need to showcase how amazing your event has been. Plus you'll have a set of quality images ready for marketing your next one.

As an event photographer I get to see some and interesting projects at times. And this certainly was one of those moments.

I was honoured when Charlene Lam contacted me, having previously had some brand photos taken, asking if I could attend her very special gallery event in London for the Design Festival.

Charlene's display and the interactions that were part of that required some sensitively shot photographs to document it.

In the heart of Shoreditch, under the bandstand of Arnold Circus - Charlene with her plinth set up, presented the installation. Sharing her family objects and stories and inviting others to join in.

A wonderful project, I'm so glad to have captured these. Thank you Charlene.

It's most important you feel like YOU 🥰

That means choosing to wear as little or as much make-up as makes you feel good. It really makes a difference in front of the camera.

My style of photography doesn't require thick foundations, but I do suggest at least a light foundation and having some blotting tissue handy, don't worry though I always carry some in my kit back - just in case. You never know when the shiny forehead thing might happen. Especially on the warmer days. I'm like a good girl scout - always be prepared they say!

Most people like to do their own make-up the way they would on a normal day or going out with friends. Sometimes a new lipstick. Although if it would make you feel extra glam I'm happy to book a make-up artist that would suit your particular photoshoot 💄

To have a fabulous set of photographs, where you feel at your best and can be as confident as possible is what it's all about.

With 14 years of experience and a good dose of nuttiness, could I be the photographer for you?

Dare I admit I went ahead and made the selfie video for this reel without knowing how I was going to use it! Please tell me it at least made you smile...honestly, I'm sure I get dafter by the day 🤪

Of course it shows me conjuring up the magic (aka as my skill set) that I'll use for my next photoshoot.

Even as an expert in your industry doing something like having a photoshoot may well be pushing your comfort zones.

But it's a good idea yeah?
