80 miles today for the Molly Ollys bike ride. That’s 140 miles down.

They do amazing work for seriously ill children. I’m riding and photographing the event. I’d love to cover their expenses for me doing it. If you can spare a few quid please do sponsor me.

I'm not a magician.

It always surprises me how many people tell me that I am one.

I do understand why people call me that; I don't do magic, but I do help people look and feel better in front of a camera and that makes them feel magic.

I have an express headshot day in Leamington on Friday 11th March. It's a great opportunity to update your headshot and maybe have that 1-2-1 with someone you network with at the same time.

I bet you hate having your photo taken, don't you?

I'll let you into a secret, I do too!

Is it a good idea to let everyone know by showing it in your profile photo?

If I had this photo as my profile, how much would you want to work with me?

Nah, me neither!

A smile can show that you:
- care
- are friendly
- don't bite
- aren't horrible

Many of my clients tell me they don't know how to smile for the camera but they do, they're just too used to giving their "photo smile". I can spot a photo smile from a genuine smile from a mile away, and if I can, so can your potential clients. If your smile is inauthentic what does that say?

It always amazes me how many people have profile photos where they look grumpy. I'm pretty sure for most of them it doesn't represent how they really are, even if it does look like them.

If that doesn't make sense...think of your passport photo...it shows what you *look* like but not what you *are* like. I don't know anyone whose passport photo shows them off at their best, and that's what your profile photo should do.
