I'm not great at reviews but I felt the urge to say something!
Since I, first saw redskiesmusic on stage at The Marrs Bar on 6th October 2023 as support & many times since, especially during Marzy’s Wednesday Night Jam
Watching these young teens back then compared to now, just over 2½ years later has been a total privilege to see how far they have come
The frisson I felt back in 2023 has intensified with each live performance.
As headliners for their Thursday night line up of phonbanduk & comeback from who were both incredible, this was a Thursday night that will stay in our music memory banks for a long time!
In addition to Redskies song writing talent, they also mix & master their own music, ( )
Have created their own website & highly efficient ticket site ( )
& manage their own social media ( .robinson.drums )
The band have gone through a few minor changes since that October in '23 but the recent addition of the multi talented multi band member on bass now freeing up to play guitar, the line up, their stage presence, their audience's love for these 4 is electric.
I am probably old enough to replace my nickname of 'bandmum' with 'bandgran' where Redskies are concerned 😅
BUT their passion & love for what they do hits us all who love original music. Age is irrelevant when great music is to be had.
Their audience had the widest age range possible!
They truly are the lovliest of people off stage & incredible on it
To hear the audience singing back at them was a spine tingling moment
'Be the one' who can say
"I saw them before they hit the big time"
I can!
It all starts at grassroots music venue level, at jam nights & nights like this, so please support your local scene
