at the beginning of the year I was asked to photograph a funeral which is something I've never done before or not expected to be asked to do.

But it was an absolute pleasure and honour to be asked to photograph such a precious day, the family have given permission to post these images. and I am just really happy and honoured to share this special day🫶🏻🤍

Hello all,

I have been getting a few messages lately asking when I'm going to be back doing my photoshoots.

I have taken some time off due to being poorly and under investigations to what is going on with me! as many know I have been diagnosed with epilepsy so I have spent the past couple of months trying to get a handle on me recent diagnosis.

with that being said I am ready to get back in the swing of things!🥳

my diary is officially open for this years photoshoot sessions!

Hi to all! I hope everyone is having a good start to the new year!✨

I have been a bit quiet on my socials lately as I have been a bit unwell over the past couple of months.

3 weeks ago I have been diagnosed with epilepsy. After going through 4 years of wrong diagnosis and medications I now have the answer to my problems! I have struggled a lot over the past few months as I’ve had to stop all medication and I was constantly having what I called episodes which I described was having a constant stroke. But I’m glad it happened over the winter period where people didn’t want me around with my camera as much 🤣

A few days ago I had a collapse episode and it has resulted in me fracturing my collar bone🤦🏼‍♀️luckily it’s my left arm which is my naff arm and not my dominant arm but it does mean I will struggle to do my photography a bit until I’m out of the sling! I will start taking bookings from the beginning of May ready for the summer ☀️

Sorry to bore you all with the essay I just didn’t want anyone thinking I’d completely disappeared 😂

Two people choosing each other, signing their names to forever, and standing side by side as husband and wife. Every quiet moment, every smile, every touch told a story of love and commitment and I have the honour of capturing it🤍

✨DEPOSITS ✨

So deposits are not something I usually require when people book just because I try to keep everything as affordable for everyone as I can as I would love everyone to be able have their photos done as they are very treasurable memories🤍

However…. The past 3 weeks I’ve had 5 cancellations the day before or the same day as I was meant to be doing shoots! Or people just not replying when I’m messaging to come to you!
I absolutely understand if there is illness with you or your beloved pet it’s something completely out of your control BUT… I have had 3 people cancel on my the same day or less than 24 hours before considering being booked in with me for weeks… decide they wanted go with another photographer instead for their shoots and just sending me a message saying “we don’t need you anymore going with someone else but thank
You”

This is absolutely fine and you can most certainly go with whoever you want to but again, please give me more than 24 hours notice of this because
1- I have turned people away if I was fully
Booked out on that day, so people have missed out on spaces.
2- I have then lost money, this is my job and I have bills and plenty of mouths to feed.
3- I have organised my shoots on locations and times and it just confuses my plans.
4- I want everyone to have chances and everyone’s availability is not the same.
5- I also have my own things to rearrange if people want shoots on certain days and I have things planned I have changed arrangements for these shoots to happen.

So from the 1st January any NEW bookings I will require a small deposit, I will still keep everything as affordable as I can for people but I will be taking deposits before confirming your booking.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you understand my decision on this! 🤍
