This one meant a little more 🤍⚽️

I recently had the absolute honour of getting behind the camera for SANDS United FC Manchester, a team that my Husband is incredibly proud to be a part of.

SANDS United is so much more than a football team. It brings together Dads and other bereaved family members who all share something that nobody should ever have to experience - the loss of a baby.

Every player steps onto that pitch carrying the memory of someone incredibly special. For us, that's our Beau. 🤍

Being able to combine my photography with something that means so much to our family was incredibly special, and it was a real privilege to capture these lads doing what they love, alongside people who truly understand why they're there.

Behind every shirt is a name. Behind every name is a baby who is loved, missed and remembered every single day. 🌈

Thank you SANDS United FC Manchester for trusting me to capture these moments. It genuinely was an honour. 🤍⚽️📸

To the Dads who are there every day, the Dads-to-be eagerly awaiting their little ones, and the Grandads and Uncles whose love knows no bounds.

To the Mums who take on the role of both Mum and Dad, the Stepdads who chose love, the Foster Dads and adoptive Dads who opened their hearts and homes.

To those longing to become a Dad, those navigating fertility journeys, and those carrying love for children they haven't yet met.

To the Dads whose children are no longer here, and to those spending today missing their own Fathers a little extra.

And to every Father figure who has offered guidance, strength, kindness and unconditional love. Today is for you too.
